At the beginning after seeing so many negative comments we were very much afraid but once we reached the place our view changed. Below pointers would help : 1. The location was not at all bad. Pont Hainguerlot bus stop is just 200 metres from the hotel. The Metro Porte de la Chapelle is around 500 metres (do not trust google always as it was not showing the best route). From Porte de la Chapelle you can almost go anywhere (even a direct bus to CDG airport) 2. There were many reviews about homeless people around the hotel which felt unsafe. I travelled with my wife and son and one day we returned to hotel at 1 AM using public transport and we did not find anything unsafe and there could be one or two homeless people but they never bothered us. So there is nothing to worry. 3. The hotel staff were very polite and cooperative. The was always some refreshing cold orange drink at any point of the day or night. 4. The AC worked perfectly fine. No complaints 5. The rooms were small but space was well managed. 6. Although the hotel is beside highway the windows are sound proof and there were no disturbances. As a conclusion, I feel what you get is what you get. You will always have complaints if you expect too much from budget hotels.

It is quite well connected to the city centre, a few great stores around with very kind people who work there, and the hotel staff is very nice and eager to help. The neighbourhood looked safe. The hotel has lifts, which was very important to us, since we had a 3 month old baby with us. The room is small (as expected in Paris) but functional, it was worth the money. The cleaning ladies did an amazing job, new towels and clean room every day... And the shower was amazing.

It was practical. Good breakfast. The room was cleaned every day. Very peaceful. Parking under the hotel (20€ for 24h). You could take a lift to the hotel. We used underground station few times in a day time. At night we used uber. Montmartre is 15min drive by uber. We stayed there with our 5 months old baby. It was OK location for the olimpic games my husband attended.

I think most of the people exaggerate when saying the location is bad. I mean, it's not the best-looking location, and it was quite rubbishy but overall, there were no problem even after dark. Metro is 10m walk. For those who are on a low budget, it's a good option.

Breakfast good value relative to food prices in Paris. Room was really quiet and blackout blinds did their job. Room was exactly as it was in the pictures. Free water at reception. Good base at a reasonable price to explore Paris
